INGREDIENTS
  • 1 little head of red cabbage (very finely cut)
  • 3 green onions
  • 1 cup cooked almonds (roughly cut)
  • 1 orange, peeled and sliced
  • 1/3 cup loosely packed cilantro
  • 3 medium carrots grated
  • 4 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 clove garlic (diced or pressed)
  • 1/2 inch piece of ginger (diced or pushed)
  • 1½ tablespoons sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon soy sauce

INSTRUCTIONS
  1. Combine thinly cut red cabbage as well as grated carrots in a big bowl.
  2. In a jar with a lid, combine vinegar, garlic, ginger, sesame oil, brown sugar, and soy sauce. Shake until the sugar is dissolved.
  3. Pour the dressing over the cabbage as well as throw thoroughly to coat. Top with chopped environment-friendly onions, toasted almonds, orange pieces as well as cilantro.
